Leather

Bachelor's Collection

Taking inspiration on the material leather itself, the collection tells the story of the material through three different stages, from the animal at the origins and its domesticity, the slaughterhouse and leather crafts in interior design.

How the incorporation of animals in our domestic environment became a demonstration of wealth and luxury?

Developing weaving techniques illustrating the entrails of the animal, quilting inspired by the muscles of a beef, weaving leather reinterpreting caning traditions, the collection questions our own animal instinct and our place as animals exploiting others.
